Thaïs Hunter

Thaïs supports educators by making sure their experience with ASSISTments is smooth, strategic, and genuinely helpful. She knows what teachers need because she’s been one. Thaïs started her career as a special education teacher in Memphis, TN, the home of good BBQ and blues music, where she learned quickly how to think on her feet and find creative solutions in real time. Since then, she has worn many hats: trainer, coach, problem solver—all with one goal in mind: helping teachers feel confident and supported when using new tools. Before joining ASSISTments, she worked across school districts and edtech teams to make sure good ideas turned into real impact.Outside of work, Thaïs loves bird watching, discovering old books in antique shops, and cooking meals that bring people together. She brings calm, clarity, and a little bit of edge to everything she does. She supports teachers because when they win, students thrive.
