Leaders will build the knowledge, confidence and strategies to coach teachers, foster collaborative learning, and ensure implementation stays aligned to school-wide goals for math instruction. Participants will explore how to use ASSISTments through both a teacher and coaching lens, engage with tools and resources that support their work, and leave with a practical plan for driving ongoing success.

Each PLC cohort includes:
- A program orientation and 6–8 live sessions (75 minutes each)
- Flexible cohort sizes (5 to 15 teachers), organized by grade level
- Asynchronous support and resources between sessions
- Opportunities to explore data-driven instructional strategies, exchange ideas, and reflect on practice in a supportive community

A Hands-On Introduction for New Users
This 1-hour onboarding session helps teachers get up and running with confidence. Participants will explore the core features of ASSISTments and learn how it enhances high-quality math instruction. They'll gain firsthand experience assigning standards-aligned problems, previewing the student experience, and reviewing data to inform instruction. Teachers will leave ready to begin using ASSISTments confidently in their own classrooms.
Participants will:
- Create and set up their ASSISTments teacher account
- Learn how to assign problems from the ASSISTments content library
- Explore the student experience and how instant feedback is delivered
- Review key data reports and understand their instructional value
- Receive planning tips and resources to build effective classroom routines
Part 2: From Data to Action
Using ASSISTments to Drive Differentiated Instruction
This 1-hour session moves beyond setup into impact. Teachers will learn to interpret ASSISTments’ powerful real-time reports and use data insights to meet the diverse needs of their students. Through guided activities, participants will practice analyzing data and translating it into targeted instructional moves. Teachers will leave with practical tools and strategies to make data-informed instruction part of their daily practice.
Participants will:
- Navigate and interpret Assignment, Class, and Student reports
- Identify trends and patterns that surface learning needs
- Use data to group students and differentiate instruction
Hands-On Activities Include:
- Interactive Data Dive – explore live report data and learn about the key data points that will help you drive instructional decisions.
- Collaborative Breakout – Create a small-group lesson plan based on real sample data
Participants will:
- Learn to use data to plan small-group instruction, provide targetedfeedback, or reteach key concepts
- Explore ways to incorporate data reflection into their regular instructional routines
- Explore strategies for using data to facilitate meaningful, student-centeredmath discussions

- Learn about resources and key recommendations that will help them support teacher implementation of ASSISTments.
- Identify common challenges and model strategies to build confidence and consistency.
