Doug Jaffe

Doug Jaffe directs grants and equity investments in technologies that increase classroom coherence and efficacy in the K-12 sector. Doug is the co-founder of the Coherence Fund and serves as a consultant and advisor to philanthropies, non-profits, and startup entrepreneurs. Prior to the Coherence Fund, Doug was a Senior Fellow at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Earlier in his career, Doug held leadership roles at the New York State Regents Research Fund and the New York City Department of Education where he led human capital, strategy, data and technology initiatives. Doug has also held roles in management consulting and product development in the private sector. Doug earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School and is an alumnus of the Broad Residency in Urban Education
