How does a timed assignment work?

At assign time, teachers have the ability to set a timer for any assignment.  To learn more about Assign-Time options, click here.

When you set a timer on an assignment, students will only be able to complete the assignment in the amount of time provided.  Note:  Students can pause an assignment at any time and return to it later without losing total time.

When you set a timer, you will be able to see whether and for how long students paused the assignment.

You will also be able to see the length of time provided to students when you click any assignment in the My Assignments tab.
